These terms govern your use of Epicurus Pro (the "Service"), an AI digital colleague provided by Cognivo FZ LLC ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you use the Service for a company, you confirm you can bind that company, and "you" means the company.
1. The Service
Epicurus Pro is an AI agent you talk or type to. It can read and act on the email, calendar, contacts, Microsoft Teams, phone numbers and other apps you connect, and it remembers information you share so it can help you later. Features depend on your plan, as described on our pricing page and in the Pricing and credits schedule.
2. Accounts
- You must give accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure. We recommend two-factor authentication.
- Account owners and group admins control who can access the organisation, its locations and its settings, and are responsible for their users.
- You must be at least 18 and using the Service for business purposes.
3. Connected accounts and acting for you
When you connect a mailbox, calendar, phone number or app, you authorise the Service to access it and to take actions you ask for, such as drafting or sending emails, booking meetings, placing calls and sending messages. You are responsible for instructions you give the agent and for checking important actions before you confirm them. You can disconnect any account at any time.
4. AI output
AI can make mistakes. Answers, summaries, transcripts and drafts may be incomplete or wrong, and you should check anything important before relying on it. The Service does not give legal, financial, medical or other professional advice. See our AI use policy.
5. Calls, SMS and WhatsApp
Phone numbers are provided through our telecoms partner and are subject to their regulatory requirements, including identity and address checks. You must have a lawful basis to call or message people, follow applicable marketing and call-recording rules, and tell people when calls are recorded where required. Emergency calls are not supported; do not rely on the Service to contact emergency services.
6. Acceptable use
You must follow our Acceptable use policy. We may suspend access that breaks it or puts the Service or others at risk.
7. Fees
Paid plans, extra employees, extra locations, credits and call minutes are charged as set out in the Pricing and credits schedule and the Subscription agreement. Prices exclude VAT.
8. Your data
You own the content you and your users put into or connect to the Service. You give us the rights we need to host, process and display it to provide the Service. We handle personal data as described in our Privacy policy and, for business customers, our Data processing terms. We do not use your content to train AI models.
9. Our intellectual property
Cognivo FZ LLC owns the Service, its software, design and brand. You may not copy, reverse engineer or resell the Service except as these terms allow. Feedback you give us may be used to improve the Service.
10. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available and secure but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free. We may improve or change features. If we make a change that materially reduces what you pay for, we will tell you in advance.
11. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, and our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.
12. Suspension and termination
You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing & plans; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms or fail to pay. After termination you can request an export of your data for 30 days, after which we delete it in line with our Privacy policy.
13. General
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force. We may update these terms and will notify you of material changes. Questions: hello@epicurus.pro.
